Role Overview

This is a full-time position, involving the frontend development of Adalat AI’s speech recognition transcription product. You will be part of the team ensuring the frontend code meets industry standards and improving the product.

Key Responsibilities

You will be expected to:

  • Build innovative solutions with great design and problem solving skills

  • Pushing the boundaries of what is possible in editor landscape

  • Optimising and scaling editor performance on web

  • Close collaboration with AI and product teams

  • Constantly challenging yourself and your team by keeping your knowledge up to date

  • Keeping our users at the heart of everything you do to conjure feature-rich, user-friendly text editors

Qualifications

  • Computer Science Graduate with 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • You’re a ProseMirror expert or you have extensive rich text editor experience

  • You’re knowledgeable about design patterns, Typescript/Javascript, HTML, and CSS

  • Have experience with at least one JS based Frontend framework.

  • You have an appetite to learn about or already have experience with GraphQL, PlayWright, and NextJS

(Don’t worry about ticking every single box on the list to be considered for this role.)

What You Will Achieve in a Year

  • Worked on building a voice-first code editor, with features like collaboration, audit logs

  • Developed a deep understanding of people in the legal system and how to build UX for them
