Role Overview

We're hiring a Frontend Engineer to lead and build the core UI for our courtroom transcription platform. This is not a generic dashboard gig — you'll work on real-time audio playback, legal text editing, and UX for busy judges. You'll also help shape our design system and collaborate with a small team of elite builders shipping impactful features fast.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain production-grade frontends using Next.js, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS.
Implement seamless UX for audio recording, playback, and rich-text editing.
Collaborate closely with backend and design teams to ship end-to-end features.
Uphold code quality through reviews and testing (Playwright / unit tests).
Proactively suggest and prototype new ideas to improve the product.

Qualifications

Have 10 years of experience working on production JS/TS codebases.
Have deep experience with React and Browser internals
Have shipped complex UIs and helped scale frontend architecture.
Are obsessive about reducing user pain and improving speed and accessibility.
Have experience working with or building design systems.

Bonus: Experience working with audio APIs or rich-text editors
