Adalat AI builds the AI infrastructure that powers India’s courts and, ultimately, judicial systems across the Global South. Our speech-to-text and reasoning models already run in ~3,000 courtrooms. High-quality, court-admissible legal data is the fuel for those models; the LDI vertical is how we produce it at scale.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Product Operations Associate to sit at the intersection of product, operations, and customer success. This role is designed for someone early in their career (<2 years of experience) who is curious, resourceful, and excited to work for a social mission.

You’ll act as the first line of analysis and support between our prestigious external partners—including members of the judiciary such as Chief Justices and Judges - and our internal product/engineering teams. The role requires sharp operational execution, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle sensitive interactions with utmost professionalism.

This is a high-ownership role where you’ll build a strong learning curve across product, technical systems, and customer-facing workflows, while contributing to both operational excellence and product reliability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the support layer between our partnerships team and technical teams.

  • Draft, review, and manage sensitive email communications with high-profile stakeholders (Judges, Chief Justices, legal experts).

  • Triage and categorise issues (product misunderstanding, user education, or technical bug).

  • Use tools like Sentry, Mixpanel, and Linear to review replays, analyse events, and manage tickets.

  • Perform first-level RCA checks to reduce load on engineering.

  • Manage and prioritise support tickets within the product ops function.

  • Assist with onboarding external consultants (e.g., language experts) and coordinate workflows.

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and operations leads to improve processes and product usability.

  • Continuously self-learn and deepen your understanding of technical systems and AI-driven product workflows.

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of experience in product operations, customer success, or related fields.

  • Strong analytical and observational skills -able to quickly spot issues and patterns.

  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to draft clear, respectful, and professional emails for a judiciary audience.

  • Comfort using product/analytics tools (Mixpanel, Sentry, ticketing tools).

  • Curiosity and self-learning ability to pick up new systems and workflows independently.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, compassion and comfort working across both technical and high-profile external teams.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to AI-first products or SaaS environments.

  • Prior experience in client-facing roles with senior or high-stakes stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with lightweight technical debugging or QA workflows.

  • Experience working with consultants, freelancers, or cross-functional vendors.
